Every year tens of thousands of bird watchers across the Americas participate in the Christmas Bird Count. From December to January, volunteers count birds in a specific area, and then use their data to keep track of bird populations. The really great thing is anyone can do it, which is why it's known as Citizen Science. These videos were made for Audubon as part of a series of videos promoting the CBC.
